Standing Desk 2.0

Was coerced to do some cleaning in the basement this rainy Sunday morning, so only made it out to the workshop around 1PM … but still managed to get standing desk complete! Except for the linear actuators that were purchased, all other materials for the desk were just hanging around …. Only needed 12 “extension drawer slides, however had a bunch of 20” slides so that’s what I used (this means the desk rises to about 4′ so should work for an NBA player …). Legs completed ….

Not finished … but in a state that will work for Week # 3! Still have to do final sanding and apply poly. Also have 8 “blocks holding desk in standing position until actuators arrive this week. Not bad for essentially a solid days’ work :).
